Stuart Hayes and Emma Pallant successful at Zel am See-kaprun Ironman 70.3!
Some fantastic results from the Ironman 70.3 in Zel am see-kaprun.
Kicking it off with Stuart and Emma’s podiums in Austria. Stuart had a great race all day, starting off with a solid swim and was still within striking distance to a podium coming off the bike, it was his run today which surprised since struggling with more injury problems recently. Nevertheless he steadily worked his way through on the run to clench a fantastic 2nd place finish! The winner was the fast Belgium Marino Vanhoenacker, 3rd place went Germanys Markus Thomschke. The day got even better for TDC with Emma having an equally great race, coming out of the swim in 2nd, she held her position pretty much through the bike section, then onto the run her stomach gave her some problems and she had to take a few pit stops, losing valuable time. However she fought on and still managed to climb onto another podium finish with 3rd. Full results can be found here:

So consistent and great racing from both today, very PROUD to have both on the podium at the same race! An inspiration to the team, much more to come this season!
