What a weekend out at Dorney Lake Duathlon F3 Events for our athletes.
Team Dillon athletes were taking every opportunity to race where possible this year, and this weekend we came away with two incredible wins in both the men’s and women’s races!
Huge congratulations to Ash Chambers for dominating the men’s sprint duathlon today clocking a fantastic time of 106.51 to take the outright win.
In the women’s race it was a phenomenal performance from our up and coming little star Caitlin Lefevre who has come back from many setbacks over the years to clock the fastest female time on course despite not having her chip on to get an official time. So technically not officially the winner but overall time of 1.21 would have been faster than any female in the senior event by 2mins, this is a BREAKTHROUGH performance for Caitlin today.
Tibor Kucs was also in great shape and lined up for the Olympic duathlon however had been struggling with knee pain, so unfortunately after the open two legs Tibor had to withdrawal from the race. But we know the strength of this guy and he will be back.
All these athletes going from strength to strength, keep up the great work TEAM. SUPER PROUD!!!
